Kiwi Sport Funding at Holy Family School

The majority of the Kiwi Sport funding allocated to Holy Family School is used to encourage our students to participate in sport. We pay the registration for teams to participate in sports organised within the Porirua region such as volleyball, flag, soccer, netball and basketball. In 2019 we included our Year 2 and 3 children in netball and purchased a number of uniforms for them. We used some of the Kiwi Sport money to contribute to swimming lessons held at the local pool. We also made a contribution to have a basketball coach visit school and give each class lessons.
